CORPORATE TRAINING
ROOM NOISE

Corporate training facilities are designed to support employee education, technical instruction, and professional development programs. Many training centers host multiple workshops, seminars, or certification classes at the same time. During these sessions, instructors speaking through microphones, multimedia presentations, and group discussions can generate sound levels between 65–75 dB(A). When several classes share a large open training room, sound from one session can easily travel into neighboring areas and disrupt nearby participants.

Large training rooms are often designed as flexible spaces that can accommodate different class sizes. However, without proper sound separation, voices from instructors and participants may overlap across the room. This can make it difficult for attendees to hear important information clearly, especially when two or more training sessions are happening simultaneously.

Clear communication is critical during training programs where employees must understand procedures, technical instructions, or safety guidelines. Excessive background noise from adjacent sessions may reduce concentration and limit the effectiveness of the training. Participants may struggle to focus on lessons or follow presentations when outside conversations interfere with the instructor’s voice.

Improves acoustics in corporate training rooms.

Installing the FoldaSil® Acoustic Accordion Partition ANC-390 provides a flexible solution for dividing large training rooms into smaller classrooms. These acoustic accordion partitions function as soundproof accordion doors that block sound transmission between groups while maintaining flexible room layouts. As accordion folding partitions, they allow facilities to quickly create separate classrooms or open the space for larger training seminars when needed.

With properly installed soundproof accordion partitions, noise levels between training sessions can often be reduced from 70–75 dB(A) to approximately 50–55 dB(A). This improvement helps create a quieter and more focused learning environment where participants can clearly hear instructors and fully engage with the training material.
