Overwiew

Citrix Systems operates modern, high-performance office
environments designed to support collaboration, innovation,
and focused work. Like many technology-driven workplaces,
the Florida offices feature open-plan layouts, high ceilings,
glass partitions, and exposed structural elements. While
visually appealing, these design features created acoustic
challenges, including excessive reverberation and elevated
background noise levels.

To improve speech clarity, reduce distractions, and enhance
overall workplace comfort without altering the architectural
design, Citrix Systems partnered with All Noise Control to

install VibraCore® ANC-700 acoustic ceiling banners, a high-
performance solution engineered for large-scale reverberation

treatment in commercial environments.

CHALLENGE

High ceilings and open office geometry allowed sound from
conversations, video conferences, and office equipment to
travel freely across work areas. Reflections from hard surfaces
caused echo and noise buildup, making it difficult for
employees to concentrate and communicate effectively. Citrix
required a solution that would deliver high ceiling
reverberation control, improve speech privacy, meet Class A
fire-rated requirements, and integrate seamlessly into an
active office environment with minimal visual impact.

SOLUTION

All Noise Control installed a customized system of VibraCore®
ANC-700 suspended acoustic banners throughout Citrix
Systems’ office spaces. These rectangular, 2” thick acoustic
ceiling banners (4’ x 2’) feature 3/4# fiberglass cores and
perforated PVC or nylon sailcloth surfaces, providing maximum
sound absorption with an NRC of 1.0.

The hanging acoustic banners were suspended from existing
construction using cables, beam clamps, and grommeted
suspension hardware, allowing precise spacing and placement
as detailed in reflected ceiling plans. In areas with exposed
ceilings and complex layouts, catenary banners and draped
acoustic banners were used to follow architectural lines and
maximize coverage. Heat-sealed edges ensured durability,
while architect-selected colors allowed the banners to
complement the office design.

RESULTS

  • Significant reduction in reverberation and background
    noise across open office areas
  • Improved speech clarity and privacy for meetings, calls, and
    collaborative work
  • Enhanced employee focus, comfort, and productivity
  • Flexible, visually unobtrusive acoustic treatment that
    supports modern office design
  • Fire-rated, code-compliant installation with professional
    workmanship
