Johnson & Johnson’s pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
require precise acoustic management to maintain cleanroom
integrity and protect sensitive equipment. HVAC ductwork,
chilled water piping, and process piping systems can transmit
vibration and mechanical noise that compromises both
production and environmental stability.
Mechanical systems also need insulation for thermal efficiency
and condensation control, especially in cleanrooms and
controlled environments where temperature and humidity are
strictly monitored.

CHALLENGE
Noise from HVAC fans, duct transitions, and industrial piping
impacted both employee concentration and sensitive
production processes. Thermal losses from hot piping and
chilled systems also posed energy efficiency challenges.
SOLUTION
Â
All Noise Control installed ANC-B10LAG Wrap Barrier across
HVAC ducts, mechanical piping, and equipment enclosures.
The mass-loaded vinyl layer absorbs low-frequency sound and
structure-borne vibration, while the reinforced aluminum-
faced mylar ensures durability, chemical resistance, and heat
protection. This delivers high-performance acoustic pipe and
duct wrap and soundproof duct wrap for pharmaceutical
production.
The product functions as HVAC duct insulation wrap providing
thermal protection with reduced heat loss and condensation
prevention. Installation is fast and straightforward over existing
insulation using matching tape. Fire-rated and moisture-
resistant, the B10LAG ensures long-term performance and
compliance with safety standards.
