Overwiew
Deloitte’s Florida offices are a hub for collaboration, meetings,
and high-concentration work. With an open-plan layout, high
ceilings, and multiple collaborative zones, employees faced
challenges with excessive noise, echo, and speech distractions.
The result was reduced concentration, frequent interruptions,
and diminished overall productivity.
To enhance the office environment without disrupting the
modern open-concept design, Deloitte partnered with All
Noise Control to implement VibraCore® acoustic ceiling
banners, a flexible and effective solution engineered for large-
scale reverberation control in commercial office spaces.
CHALLENGE
Open floor plans, glass partitions, and soaring ceilings caused
sound to carry and bounce throughout the Deloitte Florida
offices, amplifying conversations, phone calls, and the hum of
office equipment. Employees often struggled to concentrate in
collaborative zones and individual workstations due to
overlapping noise, echo, and lack of acoustic separation. The
office required a solution that could effectively reduce ambient
noise, improve speech privacy in both open areas and meeting
spaces, and deliver reliable high ceiling reverberation control,
all while remaining visually discreet and fully compliant with
fire safety and building codes.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control installed VibraCore® acoustic banners across
Deloitte’s office ceilings. Hanging acoustic banners made from
vinyl-coated fiberglass with lightweight fiberglass cores served
as the primary noise-absorbing solution, effectively dampening
reflections and echo. Overhead banners installed with
adjustable cable suspension and grommeted hardware
allowed precise placement in open areas, conference rooms,
and high-traffic zones.
In complex ceiling areas, acoustic banners provided seamless
coverage, ensuring consistent noise reduction throughout the
space. Custom-length banners were used to maintain clean
sightlines and preserve the modern aesthetic. The system
achieved an NRC of 0.70, delivering professional-grade sound
dampening and creating a calmer, more productive workplace
environment.
