Kramer Project Development manages complex mixed-use
and urban construction projects often located near residential
communities, commercial districts, and active public spaces.
These environments demand strict noise compliance while
maintaining aggressive construction schedules. Heavy
equipment operations, concrete placement, steel erection, and
material handling created persistent airborne noise that could
easily travel beyond the jobsite perimeter.
In high-density areas, uncontrolled construction noise posed
risks to community relations, regulatory compliance, and
overall project timelines. Kramer Project Development
required a robust yet flexible outdoor/temporary sound barrier
capable of delivering meaningful sound reduction without
requiring permanent structures or extensive labor.

CHALLENGE
Construction activities produced continuous high-decibel
noise that reflected off nearby buildings and hard surfaces.
Traditional wood fencing provided no meaningful acoustic
benefit, while rigid wall systems were costly, slow to install, and
impractical for evolving site layouts. The project required noise
reduction fencing that could integrate seamlessly with existing
perimeter fencing, withstand harsh weather, and remain
effective despite dirt, grease, and extended UV exposure.

All Noise Control supplied its Soundproof Fence Barrier,
engineered specifically for demanding construction and
infrastructure environments. Installed directly onto existing
fencing, the system functioned as acoustic fencing and a high-
performing acoustic noise barrier, blocking direct sound paths
from heavy equipment and work zones.
The barrier’s durable soundproof membrane and internal
absorption core delivered an independently tested STC 28,
equating to approximately an 85% perceived reduction in
sound. Designed to be lightweight & easy install, crews
completed installation in under one hour using basic hand
tools. Its UV/mold/weather resistant, eco-friendly/recyclable
construction ensured long-term durability without
degradation.
