Overwiew
Bridgestone operates large-scale tire manufacturing plants
with extensive industrial piping, HVAC ductwork, and
mechanical systems running continuously. Excessive vibration
and airflow noise from these systems could interfere with
worker communication, safety, and overall plant efficiency.
Maintaining both acoustic control and thermal performance
was essential for production continuity.
Noise from HVAC systems and high-pressure process piping
also had the potential to radiate into administrative areas and
common spaces, requiring a durable and flexible soundproof
pipe and duct wrap solution that could handle industrial
conditions without affecting operations.

CHALLENGE
High-velocity ductwork, air handlers, and process piping
generated persistent airborne and structure-borne noise. The
facility required HVAC noise blocking, thermal insulation, and
vibration control for industrial piping, all without downtime or
complex modifications.
SOLUTION
Â
All Noise Control applied ANC-B10LAG Wrap Barrier to HVAC
ductwork, mechanical piping, pumps, valves, and duct
transitions. The product combines mass-loaded vinyl with a
reinforced aluminum-faced mylar layer, providing high-density
acoustic control for both industrial and commercial
applications. Its flexible roll format allows it to wrap smoothly
around pipes and ductwork, serving as a sound deadening
duct wrap, air duct wrap, and pipe soundproofing wrap.
The B10LAG system blocks airborne and mechanical noise
while also improving thermal performance by reducing heat
loss in hot piping and chilled water lines. Fire-rated to ASTM
E84 Class 1 standards and resistant to moisture, chemicals, and
wear, it delivers long-term durability for both indoor and
outdoor pipe wrap applications. Installation is quick, requiring
only matching tape to seal seams over existing insulation,
minimizing operational downtime.
