Premier Music Academy required better noise control between
practice rooms and teaching spaces to support focused
instruction. Overlapping sounds from instruments and lessons
created distractions for students and instructors.
All Noise Control implemented Accordion Doors ANC-390,
designed as sound resistant interior doors for music
environments. These sound dampening doors reduced sound
transfer while remaining easy to operate and visually
appropriate for an educational setting.

CHALLENGE
The academy required soundproof doors interior solutions that
could deliver higher interior door sound insulation than
standard sound resistant interior doors. The doors needed to
handle strong sound pressure levels while remaining visually
appropriate, easy to operate, and durable enough for daily
educational use.
SOLUTION
Â
All Noise Control installed ANC-390 soundproof accordion
doors with STC 39 acoustic performance, providing reliable
door sound proofing between classrooms and rehearsal
spaces. Designed to span openings up to 50 feet wide and 16
feet high, the system allowed rooms to be separated or
combined as needed.
With a 3.25 lbs./sq. ft. hanging weight, the sound dampening
interior doors balanced strong sound control with smooth
operation. Fabric and vinyl finishes helped the system blend
seamlessly into the academy’s interiors while delivering
professional-grade acoustic performance.
