Overwiew
Southeastern Aluminum Products operates a high-volume
aluminum manufacturing facility in Florida where extrusion
lines, cutting equipment, material handling systems, and
industrial HVAC infrastructure generate continuous high-
decibel noise. As sound traveled freely between active
production areas and nearby work zones, it affected
communication, employee comfort, and long-term noise
compliance.
The facility required a high-performance industrial soundproof
wall solution that could be installed efficiently, withstand
demanding conditions, and adapt to changing production
layouts—without the cost or downtime associated with
permanent wall construction.

CHALLENGE
Aluminum processing equipment produced sustained high-
decibel noise that traveled across open manufacturing spaces
and into adjacent work areas. This created communication
difficulties, increased employee noise exposure, and raised
concerns about OSHA and local noise compliance.
Southeastern Aluminum Products also required a fire-rated,
weather-resistant noise control system capable of performing
in harsh industrial environments while remaining flexible
enough to accommodate evolving production layouts.
SOLUTION
Â
All Noise Control installed a custom industrial soundproof wall
system using ANC-AB110-EXT-R, a composite noise control wall
system designed for heavy-duty and outdoor applications. The
soundproof wall panels were placed around key noise-
generating equipment to form effective sound blocking walls
and noise isolation systems without disrupting workflow.
The ANC-AB110-EXT-R combines an exterior-grade, UV-
resistant, heavy-duty faced 2″ quilted fiberglass absorber with a
1 lb per sq. ft. reinforced vinyl barrier, delivering both sound
absorption and sound blocking in one system. With an STC
rating of 32 and NRC of 0.85, the system provided reliable STC /
NRC acoustic panel performance for industrial noise reduction.
The modular configuration allowed All Noise Control to create
decoupled wall systems that could be expanded, repositioned,
or reconfigured as production demands changed—making it
an ideal industrial acoustics solution for aluminum
manufacturing.
