Florida Office Centers operates multiple commercial office
buildings in Florida where administrative offices, conference
rooms, and shared workspaces are constantly exposed to
ambient noise from HVAC systems, office equipment, and foot
traffic. Noise traveling through doors reduced employee focus,
privacy, and productivity.
The facility needed a high-performance, removable door
acoustic solution that could block sound without requiring
permanent construction or disrupting daily operations.
CHALLENGE
Open office doors and standard office doors allowed noise to
transfer between workspaces, conference rooms, and
collaborative areas. Employees experienced distractions,
confidential conversations were exposed, and meeting room
audio clarity suffered. Florida Office Centers required STC-rated
door blankets that could reduce sound transmission, maintain
privacy, and provide a flexible, professional solution adaptable
to changing office layouts.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control installed ImpactaCore® ANC-AB2DC acoustic
door blankets, turning doorways into high-performance
soundproof barriers for commercial and industrial spaces.
Using a barrier septum design, the ImpactaCore® ANC-AB2DC
consists of a 1-lb per sf sound barrier paired with 2” quilted
fiberglass sound absorbers, providing both sound absorption
and sound blocking. Grommets and hook-and-loop fasteners
allow easy installation, repositioning, and flexible acoustic
coverage. With STC 29 and NRC 0.85, these heavy-duty door
blankets reduce airborne noise and echoes, ideal for offices,
studios, and industrial facilities.
ImpactaCore® ANC-AB2DC offers durable, lightweight, and
removable industrial noise control blankets. By sealing
