Noise Control
Overwiew
Siemens Energy operates high-output energy generation and
power facilities in Florida, where turbines, compressors,
generators, and HVAC systems produce continuous high-
decibel noise. Sound traveled freely across equipment zones,
control rooms, and adjacent office spaces, impacting
communication, employee safety, and operational efficiency.
To address this, All Noise Control provided industrial
soundproof walls capable of delivering effective noise isolation
systems, improving workplace safety, and ensuring
compliance with OSHA and local noise regulations—without
the downtime or cost associated with permanent construction.
CHALLENGE
High-decibel noise from turbines, compressors, generators,
and large HVAC units traveled across open production and
operational areas. This created challenges in communication,
increased employee noise exposure, and posed compliance
concerns. Siemens Energy also needed fire-rated, durable, and
weather-resistant soundproof wall panels capable of
withstanding harsh industrial conditions while remaining
flexible for dynamic facility layouts and maintenance
requirements.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control installed ANC-AB22, a composite industrial
soundproof wall for heavy-duty energy applications.
Soundproof wall panels were placed as curtain panels and
perimeter walls around noisy equipment, forming sound
blocking walls and noise isolation systems without disrupting
workflow.
ANC-AB22 combines a 2-lb non-reinforced mass loaded vinyl
barrier with 1” and 2” vinyl quilted fiberglass absorbers,
providing sound absorption panels and high-performance
noise barriers. Panels feature grommets and hook-and-loop
fasteners for modular decoupled wall systems. Rolls are 48″ x
25’
, Class 1/A rated, withstand -20° to +180° F, and deliver STC 34
and NRC 0.90.
The system provides versatile acoustic wall panels, noise
reduction wall products, and contractor wall sound solutions
for industrial acoustics solutions and architectural sound
control.
