Overwiew
YMCA event halls are designed to host a wide range of
activities, including fitness classes, community meetings, youth
programs, and large events. These multi-use spaces often
require temporary separation to control noise between
concurrent activities. Traditional walls limited adaptability,
while lightweight partitions failed to provide sufficient noise
control.
All Noise Control installed Accordion Doors ANC-390 to create
adaptable soundproof doors for large spaces. With strong
soundproofing and wide opening capabilities, the system
improved noise control while allowing staff to easily
reconfigure event halls as needed.

CHALLENGE
Large, open layouts made sound control difficult, and
permanent walls would limit the flexibility required for multi-
use spaces. The YMCA needed noise proof doors and
soundproof sliding door solutions capable of covering large
openings while delivering dependable sound dampening door
performance in a high-traffic environment.
SOLUTION

All Noise Control installed the ANC-390 Soundproof Accordion
Door system, engineered to accommodate openings up to 50
feet wide and 16 feet high. With STC 39 sound insulation, these
sound resistant interior doors provided effective door sound
proofing while stacking neatly into a compact 9-inch when not
in use.
The all-steel construction ensured long-term durability, while
manual or electric operation allowed staff to quickly adapt
spaces for different event needs without delays or disruption.
