Overwiew
The Firestone Building in Florida operates as a high-traffic
commercial facility where consistent acoustic performance is
essential for daily operations. With open floor areas, suspended
ceiling grids, and reflective interior finishes, the building
supports administrative functions, service areas, and customer
interaction spaces. Where elevated ceiling heights and hard
surfaces contributed to sound reflection and reverberation
buildup, impacting overall acoustic balance within the facility.
To improve interior sound control while maintaining the
building’s structural and architectural integrity, the Firestone
Building partnered with All Noise Control to implement
VibraCore® Acoustic Ceiling Tile Systems featuring the ANC-
3010 series. The solution was selected to enhance sound
absorption and deliver measurable reverberation reduction
within a commercial environment.

CHALLENGE
Open interior layouts and reflective construction materials
allowed sound energy to travel freely throughout the building.
Conversations overlapped, background noise accumulated,
and reverberation affected overall acoustic comfort. The
solution required effective ceiling-plane absorption capable of
reducing echo while integrating within the existing suspended
ceiling grid. Additionally, the selected system needed to meet
fire-safety compliance standards and maintain compatibility
with lighting, HVAC systems, and building infrastructure.

All Noise Control designed and installed a customized
VibraCore® ANC-3010 Acoustic Ceiling Tile System to address
interior sound reflection within the Firestone Building.
Integrated directly into the existing ceiling grid, the ANC-3010
series targets reflected sound at the ceiling plane to improve
acoustic balance and reduce ambient noise buildup.
Constructed with a high-density fiberglass core for superior
sound absorption, the panels are available in standard 2’x2’ and
2’x4’ dimensions for seamless integration. Delivering high NRC
performance and ASTM E84 Class A fire-rated certification, the
system provides durable, code-compliant acoustic control
suited for commercial environments.
