General Dynamics operates a large manufacturing and
testing facility where multiple outdoor standby generators
support critical operations. However, the generator array
produced continuous low-frequency noise that carried
beyond the property line, resulting in complaints from nearby
commercial tenants.

  • Limited space prevented permanent masonry structures
  • Required a fast-install solution with no equipment
    downtime
  • Must withstand rain, UV, and seasonal temperature

SOLUTION: OUTDOOR ACOUSTICAL BLANKET ENCLOSURE USING ANC- AB110EXT-R2

 

To address the low-frequency generator noise, we supplied a

custom outdoor acoustical blanket enclosure using ANC-AB110EXT-
R2 Sound Curtains, our high-performance composite model

designed specifically for challenging outdoor industrial
environments.
