Overwiew
Performance Dance Center needed effective sound control
between studios where multiple classes and rehearsals take
place simultaneously. Music and instruction easily carried
between spaces, affecting focus and performance.
All Noise Control installed Accordion Doors ANC-390, a
soundproof accordion door system with an STC rating of 39.
These soundproof doors interior provided reliable door sound
insulation while maintaining flexibility and open studio layouts.
The result was improved acoustic separation without
permanent construction, supporting both daily classes and
rehearsals.

CHALLENGE
Standard partitions and traditional sound deadening interior
doors did not provide sufficient door sound insulation for the
intensity of sound generated in dance studios. The center
needed noise proof doors that could block more noise while
still allowing studios to open up for larger rehearsals and
performances. Space efficiency and durability were also key
considerations due to frequent daily use.

All Noise Control installed the ANC-390 Soundproof Accordion
Door system, engineered specifically for high-noise
environments. With an STC 39 rating, the soundproof
accordion doors delivered enhanced sound proofing a door
between adjacent studios. The system features an all-steel
frame and hinges for long-term durability, along with a
compact 9-inch stack width that minimizes space loss when
fully opened.
Available in manual or electric operation, the ANC-390 doors
allowed staff to quickly adjust studio layouts. Fabric and vinyl
finish options were selected to complement the studio’s
aesthetic while maintaining professional sound dampening
door performance.
