Overwiew
Nestlé Purina operates food processing facilities where precise
environmental control is essential to maintaining product
quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. Large HVAC
systems and mechanical piping networks support ventilation,
temperature control, and humidity management across
processing and packaging areas. As production volumes
increased, background noise from these systems became
more noticeable, and insulation performance became
increasingly important. Nestlé Purina partnered with All Noise
Control to enhance acoustic comfort while maintaining strict
operational and sanitation standards.
CHALLENGE
Noise from air handling units and mechanical piping traveled
through existing duct wrap and pipe wrap systems, increasing
sound levels in processing, packaging, and employee work
areas. Thermal loss and condensation also posed challenges to
energy efficiency and sanitation, particularly in temperature-
sensitive zones. Nestlé Purina required a durable soundproof
pipe and duct wrap that could provide dependable HVAC
noise blocking while supporting a clean, food-grade
environment.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control installed the ANC-B10LAG1, a premium
acoustic pipe and duct wrap made from resilient fiberglass
duct wrap and fiberglass pipe wrap materials. The system
delivers effective noise absorption and thermal insulation while
functioning as an easy-to-install HVAC duct insulation wrap for
food-grade environments.
With an R-value of 5, the product enhanced temperature
control and energy efficiency. The single-step installation
process combined pipe wrap insulation, HVAC duct insulation
wrap, and soundproofing into one cohesive system.
