Michael Brothers Construction routinely delivers commercial
projects adjacent to major roadways and transportation
corridors, where constant traffic noise combines with high-
output construction activities, creating challenging acoustic
conditions for workers and nearby businesses.
To address this, the company partnered with All Noise Control
to deploy a durable Soundproof Fence Barrier that functions as
a highway noise barrier. The system is portable, reusable, and
easy to install across different project phases, providing
effective noise reduction while maintaining flexibility for fast-
moving construction schedules.

CHALLENGE
Heavy equipment, material loading, and concrete operations
produced sustained airborne noise that compounded existing
roadway sound. The site required industrial noise barriers that
could withstand vibration, exposure to oil and grease, rain, and
intense sunlight without losing effectiveness. Storage
efficiency and rapid redeployment were also critical
considerations.

Â
All Noise Control installed its Soundproof Fence Barrier as
continuous noise reduction fencing along the site perimeter to
create a controlled acoustic environment around active
construction zones. Acting as a high-performance noise
absorbing fence, the barrier’s soundproof membrane,
independently lab tested with an STC rating of 28, effectively
blocked direct sound transmission while also reducing
reflected noise from surrounding hard surfaces such as
concrete, steel, and nearby structures.
The system’s custom sizes and printed graphics allowed for
integrated safety messaging, wayfinding, and site branding
without compromising acoustic performance. Its compact roll-
up design minimized storage space and simplified relocation
between project phases, while the barrier’s rugged
construction enabled it to withstand repeated handling, wind
exposure, and jobsite abuse—delivering consistent noise
control throughout the duration of the project.
