Nvidia’s offices support teams working on AI research, GPU development, and cross-functional projects. High ceilings and reflective surfaces caused echo and reduced speech clarity in collaborative spaces,necessitating an acoustic solution that maintained the modern office aesthetic.
CHALLENGE
Tall ceilings and open spaces led to prolonged reverberation and communication difficulties. The solution had to improve speech intelligibility and reduce distractions while integrating seamlessly with the office design. Multiple work modes, from focused individual work to collaborative sessions, also required balanced
acoustic performance.
IMPLEMENTATION
All Noise Control installed high-performance acoustic ceiling baffles strategically in collaboration hubs, meeting rooms, and high-traffic zones. Modular hanging systems allowed future adjustments, while finishes were selected to complement the modern design. Acoustic
modeling ensured optimal coverage without affecting lighting or HVAC systems.
