Overwiew
The St. Joe Company operates extensive industrial and
commercial facilities across Florida, where heavy machinery,
loading docks, and HVAC systems generate constant high-
decibel noise. Sound often traveled through doorways,
disrupting administrative offices, work areas, and shared
spaces, which negatively impacted employee focus, comfort,
and productivity.
To address these challenges, All Noise Control installed
ImpactaCore® ANC-AB2DC Acoustic Door Blankets, providing
a high-performance, industrial-grade solution for doorway
noise reduction. These removable, modular door soundproof
blankets deliver effective sound isolation without requiring
permanent construction or disrupting daily operations. Their
flexible design accommodates evolving facility layouts while
providing long-term noise control.
CHALLENGE
Noise from machinery, equipment, and operational areas
frequently escaped through industrial doors and access points,
spreading into hallways, offices, and adjacent work zones. This
created constant distractions, elevated stress, and exposed
employees to unsafe sound levels. The St. Joe Company
required a solution that could effectively block both airborne
and reflective noise, withstand rigorous industrial conditions,
be installed quickly without disrupting workflow, and comply
with OSHA and local noise regulations.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control installed ImpactaCore® ANC-AB2DC Acoustic
Door Blankets, designed for demanding industrial noise
control. The barrier septum design combines a 1-lb per sf
sound barrier with 2” fiberglass sound absorbers for both
sound absorption and blocking. Grommets and hook-and-loop
fasteners allow easy installation, repositioning, and flexible
acoustic coverage, with standard rolls 48” x 25’
, available in
gray, white, black, or tan. Fire-rated (Class A), moisture- and
impact-resistant, and with an NRC of 0.85 and STC of 29, these
heavy-duty acoustic door blankets provide long-lasting,
industrial-grade performance.
Their modular, removable design allowed fast mounting over
doorways, creating sound blocking door blankets that reduced
noise transfer while enabling easy repositioning as facility
layouts changed.
