Overwiew

Chapel & Hudson’s Cellar is a distinctive venue known for its
intimate atmosphere, architectural character, and immersive guest experience. With high ceilings, hard surface finishes, and open gathering areas, the space offers a visually striking environment ideal for live music, private events, and social gatherings. However, these same architectural elements contributed to acoustic challenges. Reflective surfaces and open volume created excessive reverberation and ambient noise buildup, impacting speech clarity and overall sound quality during events.

To enhance acoustic performance without altering the venue’s
aesthetic appeal, Chapel & Hudson’s Cellar partnered with All Noise Control to implement the VibraCore® Acoustic Ceiling Tile Systems. Engineered for superior sound absorption and seamless integration within standard ceiling grids, the system significantly reduced echo and reverberation while maintaining the venue’s design integrity. The result is a balanced acoustic environment that supports clear dialogue, enriched music performance, and a more comfortable
guest experience.

CHALLENGE

The venue’s high ceilings and reflective surfaces allowed sound
to linger and overlap, creating echo buildup and uneven
acoustic balance throughout the space. Conversations became
less intelligible, amplified music lost clarity, and overall guest
comfort was affected. The solution needed to provide effective
reverberation control from the ceiling plane, meet fire-safety
requirements, integrate within the existing ceiling grid system,
and remain visually discreet to preserve the venue’s aesthetic
character.

SOLUTION

All Noise Control installed the VibraCore® Acoustic Ceiling Tile
Systems, specifically engineered for high-performance sound
absorption in open-volume environments. Integrated directly
into the standard suspended ceiling grid, the system targets
reflected sound at the source — the ceiling plane — to reduce
echo and ambient noise buildup.

Depending on the selected panel series, VibraCore® ceiling
tiles deliver an NRC rating ranging from 0.70 to 1.00, providing
measurable sound absorption and effective reverberation
control. The installation preserved the venue’s architectural
design while delivering a clean, professional finish compatible
with lighting and ceiling infrastructure.

  • Noticeable reduction in reverberation and echo throughout
    Chapel & Hudson’s Cellar

  • Visually seamless integration within the venue’s ceiling
    grid, preserving architectural aesthetics
