Miami Recording Studio is a professional audio production
facility with multiple recording rooms, vocal booths, and
control rooms operating simultaneously. From music tracking
and voiceovers to mixing and mastering, the studio relies on
clean, isolated sound in every space. Even small amounts of
noise leaking through doors created unwanted background
hiss, echo, and sound bleed, affecting recording quality and
client confidence.
To solve this, All Noise Control installed ImpactaCore® ANC-
AB2DC Acoustic Door Blankets, providing high-performance,
flexible noise control at key doorways without requiring
permanent construction or interrupting daily studio sessions.
CHALLENGE
Miami Recording Studio needed a high-performance
soundproof door blanket that could function as both a sound
blocking door blanket and a sound absorption blanket,
stopping airborne and reflected noise while maintaining room-
to-room privacy. At the same time, the solution had to be
removable and modular, allowing the acoustic door blankets to
adapt to changing studio layouts without downtime or
permanent modifications.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control deployed ImpactaCore® ANC-AB2DC
Acoustic Door Blankets engineered for professional audio and
commercial environments. Featuring a barrier septum
construction, each blanket integrates a 1-lb per sq ft sound
barrier with 2” fiberglass absorptive layers to deliver effective
sound blocking and absorption. Grommets and hook-and-loop
fasteners support modular mounting, with standard 48” × 25’
rolls available in gray, white, black, or tan. Fire-rated (Class A),
moisture- and impact-resistant, and rated at NRC 0.85 and STC
29, these heavy-duty blankets provide durable, portable noise
control.
Their removable, modular configuration enabled rapid
doorway coverage, significantly reducing sound transmission,
controlling echo, and enhancing acoustic privacy. The
adaptable system allows studio spaces to be reconfigured as
needed without interruption, maintaining consistent recording
performance.
