High ceilings and large open spaces at Microsoft’s Tampa Innovation Hub caused frequent sound bounce, making communication difficult. All Noise Control floating acoustic ceiling systems delivered room sound control from above, reducing background noise and improving speech intelligibility. Modular panels integrated seamlessly with the existing interior design, providing a flexible and effective soundproof cloud ceiling system.
CHALLENGE
The Tampa Innovation Hub featured large open-plan offices and collaborative areas with exposed ceilings and concrete slabs. The design created uncontrolled sound reflections, making verbal communication across teams challenging. Employees reported frequent interruptions and difficulty hearing presentations in breakout zones, affecting overall productivity.
SOLUTION
All Noise Control’s modular ceiling sound control solutions were implemented. Panels were installed as suspended acoustic clouds above high-traffic areas, with adjustable D- Ring and T-Grid mounting to accommodate lighting and HVAC elements. The ceiling cloud soundproofing system targeted both mid- and high-frequency reflections, providing overhead sound control while enhancing aesthetic appeal.
