Cedar Church of Florida serves as a welcoming worship facility
designed to accommodate weekly services, music programs,
and community gatherings. Featuring elevated ceilings, open
sanctuary seating, and reflective interior finishes, the space
provides architectural openness and visual presence. but these
same design elements contributed to sound reflection and
reverberation buildup within the sanctuary, affecting overall
acoustic balance.
To create a quieter and more controlled interior environment
while preserving the church’s architectural integrity, Cedar
Church partnered with All Noise Control to implement
VibraCore® Acoustic Ceiling Tile Systems. Engineered for
effective sound absorption and seamless integration within
suspended ceiling grids, the system was selected to improve
clarity and restore acoustic comfort throughout the sanctuary.

CHALLENGE
The sanctuary’s high ceiling height and hard surface finishes
allowed sound energy to linger and overlap within the space.
Reflections from the ceiling plane contributed to echo buildup
and uneven sound distribution across seating areas. Spoken
messages lacked consistent clarity, and amplified music
experienced reverberation that reduced overall definition. The
selected solution required effective ceiling-plane absorption,
compatibility with existing ceiling infrastructure, compliance
with fire-safety standards, and preservation of lighting and
architectural elements.
SOLUTION
Â
All Noise Control designed and installed a customized
VibraCore® ANC-3010 acoustic ceiling tile to address
reverberation within Cedar Church of Florida. Integrated
directly into the existing suspended ceiling grid, the tiles target
reflected sound at the ceiling plane to reduce echo and
improve acoustic balance.
Constructed with a high-density fiberglass core for optimal
sound absorption, the panels are available in standard 2’x2’ and
2’x4’ dimensions for seamless installation. Delivering NRC
performance ranging from 0.70 to 1.00, depending on the
selected series, and certified ASTM E84 Class A fire-rated, the
system provides a durable, code-compliant acoustic ceiling
solution suitable for worship environments.
