Soundproofing Foams & Acoustic Foam Materials

Soundproofing Foams & Acoustic Foam Materials
All Noise Control Foam feature a modified anechoic wedge design for cost-effective, yet impressive sound control. The unique geometric shape of the surface pattern on these panels provides optimum deflection of sound waves, making them an excellent choice for recording and broadcast studios.
These versatile panels can also be used in listening rooms, restaurants, production areas and other locations where sound absorption is critically important. Panels offer excellent acoustical control across all frequencies with Noise Reduction Coefficients (NRCs) ranging from 0.75 to 0.80.

Acoustic Anechoic Wedge Foam Soundproofing Material
It is the most popular industrial noise source absorber! The featured contour profile helps trap industrial sound sources in their wake! The open cell structure and surface space of the foam helps to maximize your echo drop this foam dissipates up to 80% of unwanted sound. Available in 2″ 3″ and 4″
Installation Instructions: The standard installation technique includes adhering these panels directly to any smooth wall service with a calking gun and any silicone adhesive. One tube of glue for every four sheets or one tube for every 32 sq. ft. Also, adhering the foam to ply wood first, and then bolting the ply wood to the wall provides mobility of the material.
Also mounting the foam on ply wood design to “free stand” near a noise source can give you a portable noise control screen that can be moved out of the way.
Acoustic Wedges Soundproofing Instructions
Handle with care. Do not pick up or handle panels or tiles by the corners.
Store right side up and flat in a clean, dry area protected from the elements. Do not sit on, or stack anything on top of cartons.
Work with clean hands on a clean work surface. Wear clean cotton/canvas gloves for installation.
Use a sharp razor or fixed-blade knife and a metal straightedge to cut panels or tiles. The blade should be long and sharp enough to cut through the entire thickness of the foam. An electric carving knife works well.
For best results, cut panels from flat side.
To create visual flow of the ANC-Acoustic Wedges pattern, space each panel 1″ from adjacent panels.
When installing ANC-Acoustic Wedges, alternate the male and female patterns for a checkerboard look or install with 1″ space between similar adjacent panels.
Overhead installations may require additional support and cure time until adhesive sets.
Make sure both the panels and the surface to which the panels are being applied are dust and dirt free. If adhering to a metal surface, use a degreaser.
Cut end of adhesive tube to produce a 1/4″ bead.
First apply a 1/4″ line of adhesive around the perimeter of the panel approximately 1″ from the edge.
Next, apply a 1/4″ line of adhesive from opposite corners through the center of the panel, creating an “X.”
Press panel into place and hold for 5 seconds. Then pull panel away from the surface for 1 minute to allow adhesive to become tacky.
Press the panel back into position and hold again for 5 seconds.
