Challenge: The need for a temperature-controlled operator inspection cabin that allows inspectors to easily check steel sheeting for imperfections 24/7, without causing significant disruptions to the production line. Alba Manufacturing turned to All Noise Control for a solution.
Solution: Alba approached All Noise Control with the project’s basic requirements. The engineering team at All Noise Control designed a specialized structure featuring cut-outs for steel sheeting to be fed directly through the building’s base, passing by high-speed cameras that detect any imperfections. The steel then travels through the roof to an external roller and returns through the roof on the opposite side, where inspectors can pause the line to examine the steel in question before it continues to be rolled and stored.
All Noise Control Delivers: The building is fully air-conditioned and maintains a constant temperature of 72°F, even though the steel reaches 115°F as it passes through. Custom brush wipers on all four openings ensure the cabin maintains a near-positive pressure environment to keep the air contained.
