The Acoustic Window is a phenomenon that occurs when sound waves bounce off of a hard surface and are directed towards the ear. This can happen in both indoor and outdoor environments, and it can be caused by a number of different things. For example, if someone is talking on the phone in an apartment complex, the sound waves may bounce off of the walls and ceilings before reaching the ears of the person in the next unit. Similarly, outdoor noise pollution can be increased by buildings and other structures that reflect sound waves. By reducing the Acoustic Window, we can create quieter, more pleasant living and working spaces.
