Acoustical doors and other sound control products can be manufactured for multiple performance requirements including bullet resistance, blast resistance, thermal protection, radio frequency shielding or any combination thereof.
The doors tested are flush design and 1-3/4″ thick.

Cam lift hinges are KriegerSonic® proprietary design and are furnished with the door assembly. Soundproofing a door is an effective way to reduce the amount of noise that can pass through it. There are a variety of ways to soundproof door, and the best approach will depend on the materials and construction of the door itself. In general, however, there are a few basic steps that can be taken to dramatically reduce the amount of noise that passes through a door. Cam lift hinges will increase the force required to fully operate a Soundproof door, this should be considered for facilities with handicap codes.
Doors are available with up to 3 hour U/L label. We also offer positive pressure tests in accordance with Standards: U/L 10C and UBC 7-2 and 7-4.
