Acoustic Blanket Installation to Create a 4-Side, Floor Mounted Enclosure. Using our Acoustic Blankets to construct a 4-sided noise control solution will significantly reduce sound. The noise reduction to be expected is a range of 20 to 40 decibles. The better the construction, weight of blankets and amount of acoustic blankets used (the surface area) all factor into your sound reduction numbers. Ensuring all corners and edges are tight, and that there are no gaps is a major factor. All Noise Control met these challenges by developing a custom solution using the ANC-AB13 2″ thick acoustic blanket with 1# non-reinforced vinyl barrier to create a 4 sided enclosure including a floor mounted heavy duty double track system.

In the heart if Texas, Milan middle school had a noise reverberation problem typical to institution spaces such as gyms, cafeterias, auditorium and general purpose rooms. We all associate the echoes, noise and reverberation of sound with gyms, pool areas & large auditorium / multipurpose rooms and certainly can relate to the high noise levels in these types of rooms.
