John Mirenda Construction LLC needed a solution for privacy issues in a commercial office space, Regency Tower Office Building. Noise was traveling in and out of office units that required soundproofing solutions to improve office noise quality and especially privacy. All Noise Control was proud to acquire Mirenda construction as a new customer by offering them the ideal solution that fit within their budget and solved their needs.

Generators are often noisy an effective solution is often required to suppress the noise emitted from them. Pump noise is usually a nuisance because they are sitting on comparatively lightweight structures. The best way to soundproof and to reduce any noise from a generator regardless of size is to enclose it within a Floor Mounted 4-Sided Acoustic blanket Enclosure. For best results the enclosure should be as large as possible to allow less heat buildup and also to be more effective at reducing the noise output from reaching other areas and acoustically isolating the pump to contain structure borne sound being transmitted from where it is mounted.

Challenge:
Mehrer Drywall associates with All Noise Control; Mehrer Drywall was about to set in motion with a project. The project had to do with the ceiling; they need a product that would be ideal solution for industrial and office environments. Mehrer Drywall needed the product to prevent sound transmission as well as reducing reverberation from the ceiling. Merhrer Drywall knew that All Noise Control would have a resolution to their dilemma. Brothers Morris and Don Mehrer, journeymen in the drywall industry, incorporated Mehrer Drywall, Inc. in 1963. In 1978, they built offices and warehouses in Seattle’s Magnolia area to keep up with their expanding business. Mehrer Drywall felt 100% confident that their preference to use All Noise Control products was their right decision.

All Noise Control assisted with the noise problem that they were having. The most expedient way to help reduce the noise was with the ANC-AB2: Acoustic Quilted Fiberglass Absorption Blankets. Once we discussed their application, All Noise Control provided Work Skills Corporation with the product:
Quilted Fiberglass Absorbers reduce the reflection of sound waves by adding soft, porous, open-celled materials to any environment. All Noise Control’s ANC-AB2-2 consists of a vinyl-coated-fiberglass-cloth facing on both sides of two-inch thick quilted fiberglass. Wall panels and overhead baffles constructed with all edges bound and grommets across the top. Rolls are available 4’ wide x 25’ long and can be supplied with edges bound or unbound.

The Problem…
No matter what region we are industrialization always seems to be present. In Portland Oregon, Northwest Natural Gas Company had natural gas pipe that became a noise issue as the noise emitted from the pipe traveled easily across the open farmlands.
Northwest’s pipe was a 3′ x 10′ x 3′ exposed natural gas pipe. Mr. Camarillo, of Northwest Gas, was familiar with acoustic blankets and considering a purchase. After All Noise Control received simple sketches done by hand, they immediately knew a more effective product was available called acoustic wrap barrier. This solution offered better sound isolation and a more cost effective, weather proof material for this application.
